Went on a weekday afternoon for the dall day breakfast and got seated right away. There were a number of tables available and we were given water upon sitting. The menu is quite extensive and has both lunch and breakfast items. The food has quite large portions and came out well-flavoured. We ordered the French and Israeli breakfast and both came out quickly. The brioche bread in the French breakfast was soft and went well with the ham and egg. The sauce congealed quite quickly once it arrived on the table, which was not great. Payment is done at the counter by the front of the restaurant and can be done with cash or card (3% charge when paying with card). Good for a quick meal in a cozy spot.

Wonderful experience! Our server Olivia was so impeccable! I recently dined at Nassau Diner and had the pleasure of being served by Olivia. From the moment I sat down, she made sure her service was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to explain a few items we had questions about in detail and offered helpful recommendations based on my dietary preferences, as I am vegetarian. Food was great! What truly stood out was Olivia's ability to anticipate my needs. My water glass was never empty, and they checked in regularly without being intrusive. She was also quick to address any questions or concerns I had, always with a smile and a genuine desire to ensure I was enjoying my meal. The professionalism and dedication to providing excellent service truly enhanced my dining experience. I would highly recommend stopping by to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

Beautiful decor! The nicest diner I’ve ever eaten in. Food was delicious and great service. Strip steak was very good. My wife enjoyed the Mushroom burger. My kids enjoyed the chicken fingers, french fries, and pancake.

My mom and I took a day trip to check out Princeton University and decided to go eat at this place. Upon walking in we noticed how cute and clean everything was. We were greeted by smiling faces who were ready to seat us. We ordered our food and I had the French breakfast and my mom ordered the Scandinavian breakfast. They were both delicious. The brioche bread was delicious and baked to perfection. The nova on the Scandinavian breakfast was so fresh and practically melted in your mouth. Service was good and friendly. Bree and Alex were both great and super helpful. We will definitely come back when we’re in the area again and highly recommend.

Nassau Diner is everything you’d hope for in a classic diner experience, but with a modern touch that sets it apart. From the moment you step inside, the warm, welcoming vibe invites you to sit back and enjoy a meal that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new. The food is outstanding—every dish is crafted with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients that elevate traditional diner fare. Their curated menu is a testament to quality over quantity, and every bite proves it. I’ve tried everything from their all-day breakfast to their comfort food-inspired dinner options, and I’ve never been disappointed. The coffee is always hot, flavorful, and plentiful, making it the perfect companion to their decadent desserts (the ice cream is clearly the star, made fresh and never frozen!). Whether you’re in a cozy booth or perched on a stool at the counter, the atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish—an updated homage to the diners of yesteryear. Nassau Diner has truly redefined what a diner can be. If you’re in Princeton, don’t miss the chance to experience this gem. Five stars, without hesitation!
